FAQ
What you should know? What attractions are included around Salzburg city?
The SalzburgerLand Card includes a 24-hour Salzburg Card or the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. This means you can also use all the city’s attractions for one day. It’s worth it: You’ll hardly find so many cultural highlights, museums, and attractions anywhere else. Public transport in the city is also included.
The Untersberg cable car, Hellbrunn Zoo, and Hellbrunn Palace are also among Salzburg city’s attractions and can therefore be visited free of charge within the 24 hours.
How long is the SalzburgerLand Card valid?
You can purchase the SalzburgerLand Card for either 6 or 12 days. You determine the start date yourself.
During which period is the card valid?
During the summer season: From May 1st to October 26th.
How do I get it?
The easiest way is to order the card from the SalzburgerLand Online Shop before your holiday, starting mid-April. Otherwise, you can get the card at all tourist associations, sales points, and most hotels and accommodations. Is your accommodation one of them?
Is the SalzburgerLand Card worth it for me and my family?
If you plan to spend most of your holiday near your hotel and prefer to enjoy peace and quiet, then you should calculate carefully. However, if you are drawn to nature, are culturally interested, want to be active, and prefer a swimming lake to a hotel pool, the card is definitely worth it. After just a few days, the all-inclusive card, with its entrance fees and discounts, will have already paid for itself. This is especially true if you want to spend a day in Salzburg, the city of Mozart, or plan a trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.
How much does the SalzburgerLand Card cost?
You can buy the SalzburgerLand Card for €99 / adults for 6 days or for €124 / adults for 12 days. For children (4th birthday – 16th birthday) it costs €50 for 6 days and €62 for 12 days.
The age at the start of the holiday applies. The children’s card is valid from the 4th up to the 16th birthday. With the family bonus, the SalzburgerLand Card is free for the third child (and subsequent children) in a family (including single parents) between 4 and 15.9 years of age.
Your SalzburgerLand Card is only activated with the first scan at one of our approximately 180 attractions and is valid from that moment for 6 or 12 days.
